Luna & Folly is a mama-owned business based in Warwickshire. The nature inspired artworks are all hand painted by Rachel, founder, designer and mother of 3. Luna & Folly design high quality one-of-a-kind products that make you smile. Above all else they are made from the good stuff, 100% organic cotton and delivered in eco friendly packaging.
Hand Painted
All our artworks have been lovingly hand painted with watercolours. This of course takes time but we believe that this makes our product unique and stand out from the crowd. We re-create each artwork to best suit the name of each child to make every garment as beautiful as possible. Our artworks are filled with love, imagination and just a pinch of nostalgia. We love all things artisan and believe that when you create something so special that you leave a part of yourself in it. For us it is happy childhood memories of bedtime stories from Beatrix Potter, fairytales and magic.
Organic Cotton
We source our garments from selected, trusted suppliers. All of our garments are Sustainably manufactured which means they are produced through economically sound processing that minimise negative environmental impacts while conserving energy and natural resources.Sustainability is at the heart of everything that we do and we believe in making a difference. Starting with the sourcing of the raw materials, choosing certified and traceable 100% organic cotton.
Carbon footprint
The carbon footprint is the total carbon dioxide, methane, citrus oxide and other greenhouse gases emitted during the cultivation and harvesting of cotton, fibre processing, textile packaging, transportation and warehousing.Our garments have a vastly reduced carbon footprint through a combination of low impact organic agriculture, efficiency in manufacturing, replacing standard grid electricity with renewable wind power and using water based inks.On average one of our T-shirts saves about 7 kilograms of CO2 compared to a conventional mass produced T-shirt. The supplier of our garments has taken greenhouse gas emissions down to pre-industrial levels, all garments carry the registered mark of being ‘Climate Neutral’.

At Luna&Folly all our garments carry the Fair Wear trade mark and we are proud to support this organisation.Fair Wear supports the workers in the garment industry realising their rights to safe, dignified, properly paid employment . We want everyone to have good working conditions with reasonable working hours and for children to have the right to go to school. By making the right choices we can make a difference and give people a fair deal, allow them to take control of their lives making their own decisions .We believe everyone deserves that .
